A shoe that dates to the ’70s and – as the name might suggest – had its beginnings as a cross-country running option. Here, the adidas Originals Archive Country OG ?exclusive does away with the standard take on the original elevating the shoe with premium leather and suede builds.
Based on vintage, rare, Japanese packs from the 1980s that never were never seen in Europe or outside of the German label’s archive, each colourway sees a reinforced toe box arrive via a suede overlay, and branded touches adorn all the usual spots to complete the décor up top. Underfoot, a gum rubber sole harks back to this runner’s retro origins.
