It’s that time of the month again – the new size? Previews is here. With the colder weather in sight, this month’s episode sees Luke and Binns take us through a host of autumn-ready silhouettes including our first-ever project with Salomon, the upcoming adidas Originals BW Army Trainer plus get a look into the inspiration behind our Nike Air Max 1 – this one is a good one.

adidas Originals BW Army Trainer – ?exclusive

A vintage army indoor shoe with a supple leather upper and gum sole – the adidas Originals BW Army Trainer is an out-and-out classic from the label’s archive. In and out of the UK market for a long time, it was only right to give this one the ?exclusive treatment. With tooling similar to its siblings, the BW Army Trainer features a suede T-toe and a clean, minimal body with Trefoil tags at the heel.

Salomon XT-6 Expanse – ?exclusive

The forward-thinking XT-6 Expanse is characterized by earthy tones with purple techy mesh harking to picturesque, pastel-coloured buildings surrounding the quaint Alpine town of Annecy. A bespoke Ortholite footbed and tongue further nod to the label’s outdoor roots, and beneath, to round out the design, is an outsole coated in lug geometry for mastering trails and urban landscapes. 

Nike Air Max 1 – ?exclusive

The Nike Air Max 1 receives a paint-up with muted dark, earthier tones, as a nod to the colour cards of the ‘Considered’ era. Mixed materials of suede, leather and textile combine on the upper for a textural variety. Brown and beige tones are complemented by tonal Swooshes to the sidewalls while Nike Air Max labelling adorns the tongue and heel. The sole unit keeps things minimal and classic; black rubber offers sturdiness, plus there is a visible Air unit embedded in the heel offering authenticity and unrivalled cushioning comfort.
